Impuls voor Innovatie

Impuls voor Innovatie was founded by Ron Lameij.

The emphasis of my work over the last ten years lies in helping organisations and people become more entrepreneurial and innovative and helping them become successful with their innovations.I provide training, workshops, coaching that support my customers in embedding innovation in their organisations, getting bright and innovative ideas, validating these ideas and going to market successfully with innovations. For students of Leiden University and Leiden University College (LUC) I created several courses around entrepreneurship that take the students through the steps of creating an enterprise and building a business model. Throughout these courses the students become acquainted with the start-up way of working.I have worked in international environments, at big corporations and with small businesses and have worked with numerous start-ups and incubators like Port XL, PLNT, ECE, ACE, EIT Health. I support start-ups in going through the start-up development process and am available as a pitch coach.

Offerings

Impuls voor Innovatie offers these workshops and training programs:

Innovation Sparks

We tackle 16 different types of innovation in this workshop. Workshop goals: getting introduced to the many innovation opportunities that exist besides product innovation and getting innovative ideas for the own organisation. And of course getting inspired to start working on innovation!

Validation

Start-ups and teams from within organisations: most of the time getting innovative ideas is no problem. These ideas need to be validated with potential customers. Validating in a timely fashion and adjusting plans saves a lot of time, money and energy. Workshop goals: discuss different kinds of validation and design a validation approach for your own innovation.

Boosting value

The idea is validated, the innovation can be developed and implemented. In this workshop we look at the innovation through the 16 different lenses of the 16 different innovation types. Our goal: trying to find ways to boost the value of the innovation. This workshop is also very useful for discovering ways to increase the added value of existing products and services.

Demand generation

It isn’t good business to start marketing and selling at the moment you are going to market with a new product or a new service: you are too late by that time. Engaging with potential customers, making them curious, is something you do (long) before you are ready to launch. Workshop goals: discuss many ways of generating demand and have participants make choices about the best ways and the best channels to create demand with potential customers.

Closing deals

‘Built it and they will come’. An optimistic way of looking at sales that most of the time turns out not to be true. An active sales approach is necessary, not only for start-ups, also for existing companies. Workshop goals: becoming familiar with the steps a potential customer needs to take to choose your company and your offering. And we will define how your organisation is going to support the potential customer in taking these steps.

Embedding innovation

A masterclass about creating a context that allows innovation to happen within an organisation. Existing organisations are most of the time geared towards executing processes and tasks. Research, exploration, experimentation, innovation is often hard within an environment like that. But little choice remains: organisations will have to innovate to deal with the changes, the turbulence within their markets and customer base. Workshop goals: discuss the conditions that are needed to allow innovation to happen and help workshop participants decide how they can create these conditions within their own organisation.
